Elizabeth Gilbert: A different way to think about creative genius

This talk I find quite interesting, one because it alludes to what Tim was speaking about in a previous post, but another reason is that I sometimes think about why I’m not as worried about my creative work as other people.

I mean, I like accolades, and I am sad if people don’t like my stuff. But it doesn’t really bother me. Maybe it’s how I view what I create. All ‘talent’ that I may possess I see as a gift given to me. And although it does define who I am, it isn’t a reflection of my worth as a human.
