Dearest Zoebe

It is a wonderful thing to have a girl like you in our lives.  Youhave a smile that insists that others join in.  Even on yourgrouchy days, you aren't really very grouchy.  Sometimes it ishard to know what to write about you as you aren't saying all sorts ofcute stuff yet but you are so cute yourself.  And you are sobusy.  You've learned to stand and walk along things.  Theother day at Marion's you walked along the wall in the hallway. It was pretty cute.  And occassionally now you are starting tostand all by yourself and look all pleased with yourself. Yesterday youwent up the stairs.   You have four teeth now and like to chew onthings – mommy's shoulder, mommy's knee, Ekko,….  andoccassionally on food.  You are ticklish under your arms andaround the bottom of your neck.  Sometimes you laugh so hardthere's no noise coming out.  You also do that in the cartoo.  Especially when Ekko tries to do silly voices saying "NO" toyou.  Then you laugh so much it is the strangest littlenoise.  Unfortunately I think that you now think the word No is ajoke but….  Your favourite place is Ekko's bedroom. Somehow being in there makes you delightfully happy.  Probablybecause there is such chaos that you can find a new toy every couple ofcentimeters.  When you wake up and see me you get the mostmarvelous smile.  For Ekko you laugh when you see her but Daddyand I get smiles.  Sometimes my dear the days blur together a bitwith what we did and when.  But every day has its sweet delightfulmoments when my girl is smiling and playing with me.  Or when sheis laughing her little heart out.  Or when she is so worn out andshe curls up beside me to sleep.  I don't want to miss any Zoedays.  You are such a precious little sunshine.

Love, Mommy

    Hey Cute One,

Tonight I came over to have pie with you and you were your usual grinning delightful self. You stood at the door and cried because Sam went outside without you. I think you’re going to be a dog girl like your sister. When I left to come home you gave me a big kiss. What a grown up sweetie you are! I love you Zoe. You are such a precious girl!
