National Novel Writing Month
So, where in the world have I been in the last week? You may have noticed that I was updating the website like mad, updating everyday in fact.
And then I stopped. You didn’t hear from me, I didn’t respond to email, my kids barely saw me, my wife is wondering why it’s cold in bed, etc, you can see where this is going.
Last thursday, I found about this cool website, www.nanowrimo.org. The idea is that you write a 50,000 word novel in one month. 30 days.
It sounded like great fun to me, but not only did I have a week left, but I’m busy! I have so much stuff to do at work, that I’ve been staying at work till 7 every night this past week.
So I joined anyways.
AND I FINISHED IT!!! YAY!! HUZZAH!
And I’m so tired. Join me next year, and we can write a novel together, and not worry about some silly 7 day deadline. Don’t do it in 7 days. It can kill ya.
