Couple of quick things

Hey beauty.  We went to Daddy’s retreat for work this past weekend up in Orangeville.  You were so excited about us going on holidays.  It was great to see how happy you were as we rode in the paddle boat.  The thrill of wearing a life jacket and being out on the water was pretty intense for you.  You also really liked trying to catch frogs around the pond and such like stuff.  What a happy girl my little one was.  You slept really well in a bed all by yourself at the retreat too.  I was impressed as I expected to have you in our bed most of the night.  I know many times you are very like your Daddy but I am so glad when I see you excited to be outside and enjoying nature.  You loved the waterfalls and kept pointing out things to me with glee.  What a sweetie.

Couple of cute things too – you decided that you like Ben Bowser (I think you said he was a fun guy.   And then you added on that Jesse is your friend too). 

Tonight Uncle Aldo and Auntie Becky were over.  Uncle Aldo was trying to put together your new swing and I forget exactly what was happening but you almost sounded sarcastic at one point.  I think Uncle Aldo commented that something worked and you said “Imagine that”.  That’s Daddy’s girl.

You were trying to “call” one of your friends on the phone and I was listening to you dialing.  It was funny because you actually said “4-1-6-” before you made up a number.  You know our area code!  Wow.  Smart girl.

Daddy’s tucking you into bed so I should go join you guys.  I love you dolly. – Mommy
