Girlie girl

I'm trying to remember some of the funny things you have saidlately.  My big sweet girl.  Today Zoe fell asleep in thestroller when we went to pick you up from school.  It was pouringrain and I was soaked when we got home.  We had a little tea partyjust the two of us to warm up.  We decided we should call Auntieand tell her because she loves to join our tea parties too. Auntie was at work but you chatted away with Uncle Aldo.  So cute.

You like wearing dresses.  There are days when it is hard to getpants on you.  But they can't just be any dresses.  They haveto be able to spin around when you twirl.  I made you and Zoedresses for Christmas.  You love yours.  For days you wouldhave worn nothing else.  You would beg to sleep in it.  Youassured me that it was the prettiest dress ever.  You make sewingsuch a pleasure.  It has a nice full skirt and really spins so youlove it.  When people comment on your party dress you would getslightly offended and assure them that it was a Christmas dress, not aparty dress.

When we were driving one day you told me you were a bit confused abouthow old Jesus is.  You wanted to know if he goes back into Mary'stummy every Christmas and comes back out again.  I didn't get achance to answer before you said "I have an idea Mom.  Why don'twe each ask the Jesus in our hearts how old he is.  I asked myJesus and he said he's five.  He's grown up."

Another day we were shopping in Calgary and I picked up a package oftofu for you guys.  You said it looked different than the kind webuy here.  I said it was a different brand but it was the plainsoft tofu and that is what you like.  After a brief pause, youasked if Daddy likes scratchy tofu.

The other night you were sobbing in bed and I went to see what thematter was.  Your dog Spot was not there.  That day however, you had been playing with Spot and had started referring to him as yourhusband.  You weepingly told me that your husband was missing andyou were so sad.

We cleaned our fish tank together on Saturday.  It looks a lotbetter, even if we killed most of the fish.  You love the catfishfor some reason.  Fortunately, he is still alive.  When wewent to the pet store to get a few more fish, you told the lady thatyou'd like to buy a dogfish to go with your catfish.

You seem happy to be back to school.  I know you had a goodChristmas holiday but you really enjoy school so I'm glad you areback.  I like having you home too.

It's time to go eat some adobo so let's go.  Love you lots beauty. – Mommy

  1. Errol, I have not seen you and your girls for so long…they look so huge in the pictures…not like fat huge…but like growing up huge. When is the next Elumir event? I think I shall come by sometime this week to borrow a game…and then I can hang out for a bit.
