Oooh, this is kinda neat. Jonah Lehrer talks how being on the outside can help us be more creative in solving problems. This reminds me of the workshop I attended with Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff. She mentioned that in order to write, you have to look at things as an outsider, from a different perspective.
