Tea Party

Hey there my love, Tonight we had a tea party on the front porch.  After we dropped Daddy off at kung fu there wasn't much daylight left and yet it was too nice to go in the house.  We decided to have a tea party on the porch.  David and his dad stopped by for a few minutes to visit.  It was such fun sitting with my girls.

You've been a splendid sweetie.  On Saturday morning Auntie Becky moved up to the Soo.  She slept in your room the night before and that made you supremely happy.  They got away about 3:30 am and when you woke up at 7 to discover the bed was empty, we sure heard wails.  Poor little girl.  It took a while to comfort you.  Sure do love your auntie.  Of course today when you had some pink Lemonade that had been left at Auntie's you decided she probably didn't pack it because she knew that you would like it.

School is teaching you to be independent and grow up.  It is hard to explain but you seem more grown up already.  You are still your sweet little self though and that is good.  Your art work is showing some of the difference.  Today you drew your family and it was distinct people with arms, legs and faces.  Kind of cool and kind of sad to see you grow.  My precious beloved.

You like Viorica (the babysitter) now.  Yesterday Mommy took Zoe to work with me because Viorica wasn't feeling really well.  You loved having her all to yourself.  When I came home you asked if Zoe could go to work again on Wednesday with me.  Now if we could just get Zoe to be happy too!

Tonight you were pleading with me for a trip to the"make-up store" as you call Shopper's Drug Mart.  You would like some lipstick.  Perhaps another day we can do that for fun.

You are also excited about your birthday coming up.  You think you need a scooter for a present.  I guess I'd better start looking.

Sleep well precious girl.- Love, Mommy
