Musical beauty

I came home from work today and you greeted me with your usual joyful cheer and hugs. Then you sat on my lap for ages and sang to me. You sang “the baby on the bus go wa wa wa, all through the town (and your favourite verse seems to be the doors open and shut)”, and “twinkle, twinkle” and “baa baa black sheep”. You excitedly told me about your ballet class and that Carm had taken you to the library after ballet. Apparently you read a story about polar bears and that made you sing Baby Beluga. It was a most delightful conversation with you. I love how much you communicate you little smarty.

I love you my darling. – Mommy

I also like playing “mommy and baby” with you. The other night Ekko and I were twins and you were our mommy. Boy are you a strict mommy at bedtime as you constantly shush Ekko and I. The funniest part was when Ekko pretended to cry and said she needed boobies. (That is one of your lines when you cry.) Anyway, you pulled up your shirt and looked down perplexed. Then you said “where are my boobies anyway?” Ekko nearly laughed herself silly.
